Our Story: Giving your name the respect it deserves
What started over 50 years ago as Naag Tag is now Name at a Glance—and we’re still all about making names matter.
It all began with a simple but powerful idea: Missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints could connect more easily with others if they wore their names proudly. So, engraved name tags became our thing—and they’ve been opening doors and starting conversations ever since.
Since 1995 the company has thrived under the care of Linda and Russ Lindeman. Then in 2022, the torch was passed to Shawn and Michael Ann Wilson, two former employees who already knew the heart of the business. They officially took the reins on September 1, 2022—and hit the ground running.
Shawn is a veteran graphic designer with 30+ years of creative experience. Since 2016, he’s also been growing our sister company, W.K. Wilson LLC, crafting everything from wooden bow ties to layered temple plaques that are as meaningful as they are beautiful.
Michael Ann brings her own superpowers: nine years as a lead engraver, plus interior design skills and a solid background as a detailer and project manager in the steel building world. She keeps things sharp, stylish, and running smoothly.
With our awesome team behind us, we’re keeping the tradition of top-notch service alive and well. We’re still your go-to for professional name tags—but now we’re also adding more creative, personalized products to the mix. The name may be new, but the care and quality behind it are as strong as ever.
